Kyle Sanders’ journey into acupuncture was inspired by his father, a naturopathic doctor, who introduced him to a world of medicine outside the mainstream. Growing up surrounded by alternative approaches to health, Kyle’s interest deepened while studying health science at Furman University. It was during this time that he experienced his first acupuncture treatment while attending one of his father’s cranial sacral therapy classes. The sensations he felt with each needle left a lasting impression, opening his mind to the profound effects acupuncture can have on the body’s energy and healing processes.

Kyle’s acupuncture approach is rooted in the traditions of Five Element and Japanese acupuncture, both of which prioritize addressing the root cause of imbalances in the body. He uses gentle techniques to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities, creating a treatment environment that is both calming and effective. By working with the body’s energy, or “qi,” Kyle helps restore balance and promote self-healing. His treatments are highly individualized, focusing on the unique patterns of each patient’s condition, whether it’s pain, emotional distress, or physical ailments. This personalized care allows Kyle to target not only the symptoms but the underlying factors contributing to them, providing a deeper level of relief and transformation.
In addition to acupuncture, Kyle incorporates Kampo herbal medicine as a key component of his practice. He believes that herbs offer a powerful, natural way to accelerate the body’s healing process and complement acupuncture treatments. By carefully selecting specific herbal remedies for each patient’s unique needs, Kyle addresses the underlying causes of issues like gastrointestinal disorders, emotional imbalances, and chronic pain. His approach integrates both acupuncture and herbal medicine to create a holistic, well-rounded path to wellness, aiming for deeper and more lasting results.
